Unlike conventional general-purpose processors, Yaskawa's Profichip Triton is a chip solution tailored specifically for industrial applications. The development and engineering of new PLC applications within the IEC 61131-3 field is now to become much easier thanks to the support of the integrated development environment CODESYS.
