CIA® (CAN in Automation)
A nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the adoption of the CAN protocol in the automation industry and advancing the international standardization of CAN protocols. CiA organizes joint marketing activities for its members, such as shared booths at trade shows and exhibitions, as well as training courses.
The CANopen protocol, standardized by CiA, was the first fieldbus protocol to be integrated into CODESYS. CODESYS is a long-standing CiA member and maintains close cooperation in all areas.
