Products of the year 2026: CODESYS nominated
The editors of Computer & Automation have once again nominated CODESYS for the "Product of the Year 2026" award!
The add-on enables data exchange via Model Context Protocol (MCP) between AI systems with LLMs and the CODESYS Development System. This allows IEC 61131-3 blocks and PLC code to be generated, analyzed and optimized via prompt - including automatic error correction. The CODESYS MCP Server communicates with both cloud AIs and local LLMs.
