Recent report from ABI Research: CODESYS among the global “Leaders in Software-Defined Automation”
The technology consulting firm ABI Research identifies six companies as international leaders in software-defined automation. The only pure software company among them is the CODESYS Group.
The “Software-Defined Automation (SDA) Ranking” report highlights how manufacturers are placing increasing emphasis on flexible, intelligent, and scalable automation platforms as the adoption of SDA expands beyond pilot projects.
“Software-defined automation is becoming a strategic battleground as manufacturers look for faster time to market, lower hardware dependence, and more resilient control architectures,” said an analyst at ABI Research. What all leading companies have in common is that they not only offer software-defined control with robust AI roadmaps but also open deployment models, including the necessary cybersecurity strategy. The evaluation focused on this emphasis on AI and openness, as well as scalability and cybersecurity on the implementation side.
