Application Engineer / Technician for Technical Customer Support (m/f/d)

To keep it that way, more than 250 employees at our locations in Kempten, Boston, Beijing and Milan work on the development and marketing of CODESYS.

Your tasks:

  • Validation of new products and features
  • Development of test strategies
  • Supporting the development of regression tests
  • Further development of the test infrastructure

  • Development of tests

     

We support development teams on new products and features, from requirements analysis through to initial release. Together with the development teams, we plan, design, and implement tests. These tests cover all technologies within and related to the various CODESYS products, such as visualization, motion control, code generators, and automation servers…

We are specialists in test analysis and test automation. We use tools in C#, Python, and various web frameworks. We are involved in new developments from the very beginning and support all development teams by advising, monitoring, and assisting them to jointly develop optimal tests. Developing a good test is just as challenging as programming good software. In this way, we directly contribute to the success of our products.

Your profile:

  • A degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or a comparable technical background
  • Solid programming skills in C# and Python
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A passion for test development for desktop, web, and cloud technologies
  • A strong drive for continuous professional development in the technical field
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new topics
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
