CODESYS, a product from 3S-Smart Software Solutions, is the market leader in IEC 61131-3 compliant engineering software for building automation. The system is applied in different fields, for example room control and operation, heating/ventilation/air conditioning automation, and linking to superordinate building services control systems.
New at the Light + Building 2016: CODESYS products and features for considerable simplification of the project engineering of operating units for building automation. The new style templates "FlatStyle" and "WhiteStyle" contribute by providing a consistent design of advanced visualizations based on typical standard elements. Date and time elements extend the element pool even further. Users can configure the time-based planning of automated tasks in the visualization easier than ever before. The operator interface itself can be displayed by means of Responsive Web Design (RWD) on dedicated operator panels, as well as on HTML5 capable web browsers, such as tablets. CODESYS Depictor is a new integrated product for 3D modeling and visualization of buildings and equipment — all in one project engineering interface. Depictor is therefore a valuable tool for planning and implementing automation tasks.
Also new: the CODESYS OPC UA Server that manufacturers can integrate into their building control systems without any development expenses. With BACnet and OPC UA, CODESYS implements the most important communication standards for data exchange between smart building and smart factory in compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements.
