Do you use a smartphone? Sure. And WhatsApp or Instagram? Probably. You may not have thought about it, but none of this would be possible without software.

How about taking look behind the scenes? Not just using software, but writing it yourself?

We at the CODESYS Group do not program apps for smartphones, but a software called "CODESYS". It is used to program machines or robots – to tell the machines what to do and when. CODESYS can also be used to adjust the speed of an assembly line or regulate the temperature in a building. A particularly exciting example: A car manufacturer can use CODESYS to change the manufacturing processes of all its plants worldwide at one go. All it takes is a few mouse clicks – even if the manufacturer is based in Munich and production takes place in the USA or China.

A lot of companies around the world use CODESYS because it is so convenient and saves a lot of money and effort. In order to serve our international customers well, we have opened subsidiaries in Italy, China, and the USA. CODESYS is programmed by more than 100 developers, primarily at our headquarters in Kempten/Allgäu. And there are many specialists who take care of management, marketing, and sales. In total, the CODESYS Group has about 200 employees worldwide.
